About Mission Support

Chemical Domain

Deep Roots in International Chemical Weapons Expertise

Our instructors bring substantive expertise in chemical weapons control, arms control treaty frameworks, and the international governance structures that underpin the global chemical security environment. This is experience built through decades of operational and consultancy work in the field.

That depth of expertise directly informs every chemical domain training programme we deliver — not as theoretical background, but as practical understanding of how detection, decontamination, and medical countermeasures operate in real-world policy and operational contexts.

Doctrine Alignment

Internationally Aligned Training Standards

All MSB CBRN training is developed and delivered in alignment with prevailing international doctrine frameworks for CBRN response. Our programme design reflects the standards against which professional CBRN responders and specialists are expected to operate.

For organisations operating in multi-partner or coalition environments, this means training received through MSB translates into practical operational compatibility. Doctrine alignment is built into programme design and continuously reviewed against current international standards.

Expert Disciplines

Expertise Across the CBRN and Security Spectrum

MSB's instructor and advisory team brings a range of disciplines that few CBRN training providers can assemble: public health and biodefence, arms control and disarmament, OPCW/CWC treaty law, detection and identification technology, decontamination science, mass-casualty incident management, diplomatic security, and government contract operations.

The breadth of this expertise means MSB training is not delivered in disciplinary isolation. Chemical detection instructors understand the command context in which detection decisions are made. Medical response instructors understand the decontamination interface their decisions depend on. This cross-disciplinary coherence is a defining characteristic of the MSB approach.

Facilities

Training at Certified CBRN Facilities in Europe

Live-agent training requires more than instructors — it requires facilities that meet the legal, safety, and technical requirements for work with controlled chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear materials. MSB conducts live-agent training at certified partner facilities in Europe, each holding the appropriate national and international approvals.

All live-agent training is conducted within internationally accepted Occupational Exposure Limits, with continuous environmental monitoring, dedicated medical oversight, and strict participant screening protocols. Safety is a prerequisite, not a variable.

Clientele

Serving Military, Government, and International Organisations

MSB's client base is governmental and institutional. We do not serve the civilian training market. Our track record encompasses military CBRN units and specialist teams, civil defence and civil protection agencies, national government security and emergency management organisations, international organisations operating in CBRN or security-sensitive environments, and diplomatic security functions. Mission Support works with partners and relevant organisations across Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The request-based nature of the Training Catalogue reflects this client base. Organisations requesting the catalogue are engaging in a process of mutual qualification — confirming that the training is appropriate for their mandate and that the level of detail we provide is appropriate for their institutional context.

Engineering

We Build the Equipment We Teach With

Our instructors and engineers have spent decades in the field — in radiation measurement, CBRN protection, international inspection of weapons of mass destruction, emergency response and toxic waste management, including first-hand experience of the Chernobyl clean-up operation. That experience is why Mission Support also designs and manufactures detection, monitoring and unmanned reconnaissance systems, produced and supported in The Hague.

Every product answers a specific operational need identified by our own staff, is tested by them in live conditions, and is used in our own courses. Training, consulting and equipment are one operation, not three businesses.

Mission Support

Part of the Mission Support Network

The CBRN division is part of Mission Support — a specialist security, training and CBRN technology firm with experience across NIS2 / cybersecurity, CBRN, diplomatic security, and government advisory. The Mission Support group operates in a distinct register: institutional, understated, and precise. Order without theatre.

The MSB CBRN division operates under this same ethos. We do not market to general audiences or publish programme details openly. The Training Catalogue is the product. Qualified organisations request it. Equipment datasheets, by contrast, are published openly.

Engage with the Training Catalogue

Qualified organisations can request the MSB Training Catalogue — the complete, confidential overview of programmes, levels, deployment options, and certification. Delivered to official contacts only.
